The "Weinrefugium" vacation apartment, at about 70 m², is our largest accommodation. It is located on the first floor. The spacious and unique bedroom, featuring a 2-by-2-meter four-poster bed from India, is situated in a beautiful vaulted room with a large arched doorway and three niche windows. The living and dining room is tastefully furnished, and a pull-out sofa completes the layout. Both the small, compact kitchenette—equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, and two hot plates—and the bathroom are designed for functionality. According to the original plans, the apartment was intended to be a modern seminar room. The bathroom is therefore equipped with a correspondingly small sink. With its shower and toilet, this vacation apartment is a second space-saving marvel alongside Goldberg. A little bonus: with its glass ceiling, the bathroom offers a view of the beautiful sandstone zu.Im. The living and dining area features warm hardwood flooring, while all other rooms are laid with beautiful, high-quality sandstone tiles. All rooms are equipped with underfloor heating. The lighting in all rooms is dimmable and can thus be adjusted to create either a practical or a romantic, cozy atmosphere. Private high-speed Wi-Fi is available.
In our former vineyard estate, you’ll find four vacation apartments with a unique interior design style influenced by our many years of work in Africa and Asia. Two beautiful, quiet, spacious courtyards with sandstone walls invite you to linger and relax. Numerous restaurants and wine bars are within walking distance. We’re centrally located near hiking and mountain biking trails.
As our guest, you’ll receive the Pfalzcard—a fantastic pass granting access to around 130 recreational activities in the Palatinate. With it, you’ll enjoy free admission to castles, museums, swimming pools, and attractions such as SEA LIFE in nearby Speyer. Wine testings, golf without a green fee, and much more are also included. For those who do not have the Deutschland Ticket: use of public transportation is also free. We have fantastic connections within the VRN region via bus and train—even just a bus ride to the small wine villages is an experience in itself! On-site costs: Our guests receive the Pfalzcard from us. With it, you can enjoy free use of public transportation as well as attractive discounts at various venues such as museums, swimming pools, movie theaters, and more. Use of our guest bicycles is free of charge. The same applies to our washing machine and dryer. Free Wi-Fi is also available to our guests. A guest refrigerator is available for your use in the courtyard. We charge an additional fee for dogs. Please let us know if you’re bringing a dog. Advance notice is required, especially for the Weinrefugium. Please note: A steep, somewhat narrow, enclosed wooden staircase leads to the Kastanienbusch apartment. Cancellations made up to 60 days before arrival are free of charge. After that, 80% of the total amount will be charged. Depending on the season, we have a minimum stay of 3–5 nights. Please contact us directly if you’d like a shorter stay.
