Enjoy a steam train ride through the Welsh countryside aboard the Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (12 miles) and there are also opportunities for fishing, horse riding and cycling with National downhill mountain biking routes and trails (10miles). Two of Shropshire’s most popular destinations are easily accessible, Ludlow (22 miles) and Ironbridge (31 miles), and are well worth a visit.
